Our centre, Modern Montessori International (MMI) Preschool Coimbatore, established in the year 2013 is situated in the prime location of the city. The school aims to provide scientifically proven Montessori educational methodologies for children from ages 2 years to 6 years. Our school’s mission is to create a unique and fantastic learning environment for children. To achieve our goal, we are backed up by a strong, well trained and experienced team of teachers. The school environment is specifically prepared to meet the child’s developmental needs at the right time.

The academic year (2024-25) began on 19th June 2024.

Every new day is a cause for celebration! Festivities are a great way to build a child’s cultural and social understanding. We celebrate international festivals like Peace Day, Thanksgiving, and Halloween that build the child’s global awareness and tolerance of other cultures.

We also have events like Independence Day, Republic Day, and National Leaders Day that acknowledge our culture and history and create a deep love for our homeland.

We introduce events that create environmental consciousness like Nature-conservation Day, Plastic-free Day, Seed ball day, and more, where children learn to value and conserve our natural resources.

We also organize educational events that make learning more fun and interesting like shape day, color day, market day, and other exciting ways to learn something new. By introducing such events and activities we develop children who show holistic progress in all areas of life. With both scholastic excellence and social intelligence, they go from good students of today to great leaders of tomorrow!

As parents, you have to be picky with what environment you choose for your child. The Montessori teaching environment allows each child to discover their unique strengths. They aren't boxed into the four walls of a tedious classroom. Instead, they are allowed to explore outside the box and learn through activities that engage and stimulate all senses.

The Montessori-based curriculum and materials allow students to unearth each subject at their own pace. We introduce them to practical life exercises that help to develop their motor skills and be independent. Sensorial training Montessori materials enhance the 5 senses of the child. We introduce Language through a phonetic approach. Mathematics is broken down into organized material that guides them from one step to the other without strain. Music and art are as important as the other subjects, it is where children truly get to explore themselves and form perspectives of their own.

We encourage our teachers to come up with fun new activities and experiments each day to always engage and stimulate the minds of our students. We don’t just train them for their grade, we prepare them for life!
